Gunman gets detained after shooting at Oslo shopping center
Police representative Tor Grottum stated: "It turns out that one shot was fired. We have the perpetrator in custody,” while emergency crews continued operations at the mall, identified in reports as Oslo’s biggest commercial complex.
The site was fully evacuated, and early information indicates that no one was injured.
Grottum added that officers were maintaining a wide search perimeter but currently believe the situation involves a single individual, noting: “We do not suspect that there are multiple perpetrators, but we are searching broadly. For now, we are talking about one suspect.”
