Gunman Opens Fire inside Shopping Center in Norway's Capital
"It turns out that one shot was fired. We have the perpetrator in custody," Tor Grottum of Oslo police stated, as emergency responders maintained their presence at Stor Storsenter, Oslo's largest retail center.
Authorities evacuated the entire facility, with no casualties reported at this time. Law enforcement officials conducted thorough sweeps of the premises to ensure public safety.
"We do not suspect that there are multiple perpetrators, but we are searching broadly. For now, we are talking about one suspect," Grottum said.
Investigators are working to determine the motive behind the incident and whether the suspect acted alone in the attack.
